Pre-treatment Apparent Diffusion Coefficient Does Not Predict Therapy Response to Radiochemotherapy in Cervical Cancer: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

چکیده
Background/Aim: Magnetic resonance imaging is used for staging purposes in cervical cancer (CC). Diffusion-weighted and the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) are associated with tumor microstructure. The present analysis sought to compare pre-treatment ADC values predict treatment outcome of radiochemotherapy CC based upon a large patient sample. Materials Methods: MEDLINE library SCOPUS databases were assessed suitable articles up May 2020. primary endpoint was mean value according response radiochemotherapy. In total, 16 studies included analysis. Results: For group, 416 patients (72.5%) no-response group 158 (27.5%). 0.87×10−3 mm2/s (95% confidence interval=0.81-0.94×10−3 mm2/s), no 0.92×10−3 interval=0.85-0.98×10−3 mm2/s). Conclusion: Pre-treatment alone cannot be reliably CC.

apparent diffusion coefficient value as a predictive marker to evaluate tumor response in patients with cervical cancer
conclusions adc valuecould be a prognostic factor to monitor the response to therapy for patients with cervical cancer. the addition of dw-mri to the conventional mri protocolsconsiderably improved the diagnostic ability of mr imaging method for tumor evaluations. results studies had shown thatthe mean adc value of cervical carcinoma (1.110 ± 0.175 × 10-3 mm2/s)is significantly lower than that ...
متن کاملApparent diffusion coefficient thresholds do not predict the response to acute stroke thrombolysis.
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) thresholds for tissue infarction have been identified in acute stroke. IV tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) is associated with tissue salvage. We hypothesized that tPA would lower the ADC threshold for infarction. METHODS ADC and mean transit time (MTT) maps were generated for 26 patients imaged within 6 hours of stroke onset (12 tP...
متن کاملP135: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis on Controlled Treatment Trials of Meta-Cognitive Therapy for Anxiety Disorders
To conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis on controlled treatment trials of meta-cognitive therapy (MCT) for anxiety disorders, studies were included if they employed controlled methodology and treated people above 18 years with anxiety disorders. Case studies (with less than 4 cases) and single case designed studies were excluded. A comprehensive literature search identified 15 trials f...

conclusions the results of this meta-analysis showed that gardasil and cervarix vaccines are highly effective against cervical cancer. according to the point that approximately 50% of cervical cancers and human carcinogenicity are related to hpv-16 infection, the bivalent hpv vaccine might have protective effects against hpv-16 cin2-3 lesion and cervical cancer. results by combining the results...
متن کاملKRAS and BRAF mutations in Iranian colorectal cancer patients: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Background: Mutations in the EGFR signaling pathway play an important role in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC). Mutations in these genes, like KRAS and BRAF, affect the treatment strategies and associated with poor prognosis and relative resistance to anti-EGFR therapies. Our aim was to conduct a systematic and meta-analysis on all studies that have been conducted on the prevalence of...
